The Shearer’s Quarters offers rustic rural accommodation for large groups of up to 30 people. Whether it is extended family, friendship groups or special interest groups, the 1920s bluestone Shearer’s Quarters offers simple yet comfortable accommodation in a unique bush setting.
The Shearer’s Quarters is a blissfully screen-free zone. There is no television and there are only a limited number of power points.

The rate for a two night weekend stay at the Shearer’s Quarters is $1200.
The rate for a 3 night long weekend is $1500
These rates are for a maximum of 25 people.
Additional guests up to 30 people may be accommodated through prior arrangement with your host at the time of booking.
Arrive from 2 pm.
Depart 2 pm. (A later checkout time may be arranged prior with your host)
The Shearer’s Quarters has 30 single beds spread across 8 bedrooms.
Six bedrooms have 3 single beds, one bedroom has 4 single beds and one bedroom has 8 single beds. The beds are all in single only or single bunk bed arrangements.

The large kitchen boasts the original brick bread oven, a wood fired oven useful for warmth in winter and an electric oven and stovetop and two refrigerators. The kitchen is well stocked with all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and some glassware.
Firewood is supplied.
